2 weeks into summer

So far summer has been way too hot but good. I bought this painting from Quientieria the other day, she is an incredibly gifted artist- did I mention she is 10 years old? I bought a self-portrait from her brother Emmitt last summer and it is one of my most prized possessions. I love that family. It seems as if I will be working mostly with teenagers this summer, helping run a few different teen-enterprise operations. One of which is a jewelry class called BLING for teen girls, teaching them how to bead and how to manage a small business, so far it has been fabulously successful! My art making is taking a small break for 8 weeks while I focus on this. In the meantime, I am helping Tim with some paintings this summer which will be fun. Also some little girls with their custom made shelter from yesterdays water balloon war.
