home for break

the semester has ended. one more to go! notable things about the past few weeks:
-i took a video art unit from hell
-i am working on a series of large houses- possibly my senior show!
-i cooked spaghetti with anders for about 100 people for the bethel christmas banquet
-my roommate borrowed her friend's hampster for 48 hours and it died

anders drove me home and we are bumming around. not much to do in bloomington when you are broke. and who wants to go to the mall of america the week before xmas on a saturday? sick. i'm handmaking all of my gift or purchasing them from sustainable sources this year.

i don't have school again until january 12! things i plan to do:
-make a card catalog quilt
-make a moleskin daily planner book quilt
-make some xmas presents
-make a big quilt again!
-read "taking it to the streets" (a book about using art to transform community!)
-exercise (yeah right)
-visit some local artists
